Mrs Bethany Taylor - Class Two Teacher

Mrs Bethany Taylor

I am Bethany Taylor and I teach the children at Griffydam in Class Two. It is a great privilege and responsibility to teach children during their first few years at school and I enjoy helping them to find their love of learning through exploration, play and creative activities. I love to be outside and I am Level 2 forest school trained, I look forward to our weekly sessions in the woods.
In addition to my role as class teacher I am also responsible for co-ordinating PE and being part of the reading team. I am extremely lucky to work at such a friendly and welcoming school and I can't wait for the year ahead.'

One of the greatest joys of teaching is watching children grow—not just academically, but in confidence, curiosity, and independence. At Griffydam, I feel incredibly lucky to work in a school where learning is celebrated and every child is encouraged to explore, question, and discover.

Teaching is never just about delivering lessons—it's about building relationships, nurturing potential, and creating a classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired. At Griffydam, we work together to make learning meaningful and hopefully memorable, and it’s a privilege to be part of that journey.

Mrs Chloe Hatwell

Hello, my name is Chloe Blaydon and this is my second year teaching at Griffydam Primary School. I am currently teaching in Class 1. I am very passionate about the Early Years as it is a great privilege to see the children become excited about their learning where they can reach for the stars and believe anything is possible. As well as this, I am very sporty and love to be outdoors exploring the natural environment. I am very honoured to be working at Griffydam as it is such a wonderful school and I can’t wait for you to join the school community.

Mrs Sally Boulstridge

I feel so lucky to be the Assistant Headteacher at Grifydam Primary School- it’s a fantastic place to work and learn!

I’ve been teaching for over 20 years across all age groups, including the Early Years, and I still love that moment when a child learns something new and their face lights up. I’m really passionate about reading and believe that it doesn't matter what age we are - we still must keep on learning!

What makes our school so special is the wonderful team I get to work with every day and the amazing children who make our school such a happy, inspiring place to be.
