At Griffydam Primary School, we are committed to the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection. The safety and well-being of every child entrusted to our care is our top priority.
Our Commitment
We support all children by:
- Promoting a caring, safe, and positive environment within the school.
- Encouraging self-esteem and self-assertiveness.
- Effectively tackling bullying and harassment.
We recognise that some children may be victims of neglect, physical, sexual, or emotional abuse. Our staff are well placed to identify and respond to such concerns.
Our Safeguarding Aims
To protect our children, we aim to:
- Create an atmosphere where every child feels secure, valued, and listened to.
- Recognise signs and symptoms of abuse.
- Respond quickly, appropriately, and effectively to any suspected cases of abuse.
