Class 1
Welcome to Class 1, where our youngest children begin their learning journey in the Early Years Foundation Stage. This is a time of excitement, discovery, and rapid growth as children settle into school life, develop new friendships, and build the foundations for lifelong learning.
Our EYFS environment is warm, nurturing, and carefully designed to inspire curiosity and independence. Through a balance of child-initiated play and adult-guided activities, children explore the seven areas of learning in a way that feels natural, engaging, and fun. Every day is filled with opportunities to imagine, create, investigate, and problem-solve — both indoors and outdoors.
We place great importance on developing children’s early communication, language, and social skills, as well as fostering a love of reading, writing, and number work. Each child is valued as an individual, and learning experiences are tailored to their interests, needs, and developmental stage.
In Class 1, we aim to create a strong sense of belonging, confidence, and joy in learning — ensuring that every child gets the very best start to their school journey.
